# Texecom Premier Elite Programming Guide
Complete installation and programming reference for Texecom Premier Elite series intruder alarm panels.
## Overview
The Texecom Premier Elite series (Elite 12, Elite 24, Elite 48, Elite 64, Elite 168) offers flexible hardwired and wireless security solutions with comprehensive programming options via keypad or Wintex software.
## Prerequisites
– Engineer code (default: 4321)
– Wintex software (recommended)
– USB or Ethernet connection
– System design documentation
– Ricochet wireless devices (if applicable)
## Panel Configuration
### First Time Setup
1. Power up panel with default settings
2. Default engineer code: **4321**
3. Enter programming: **MENU 9** then engineer code
### Setting System Options
Navigate to **MENU 9-1** for system configuration:
